Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Unavia Technologies Inc. (“we”, “us”), based in Ontario, Canada, for using the Unseen Hours app. By using Unseen Hours, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we store and how to delete it. Questions? Email [email protected].

1. Adults only

You must be 18 or older to use Unseen Hours. By continuing past the age question, you confirm that you are. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we’ll delete it.

2. What Unseen Hours is

Unseen Hours helps you track the time you put into your goals and work alongside other people doing the same. It is not medical, mental health, financial or career advice, and the people you meet here are not professionals.

3. The Market is a game

The Market ranks weekly effort using “worth,” counted in hours (for example, H03:00). Worth is not money. It has no cash value, can’t be bought, sold, traded or withdrawn, and isn’t an investment or a financial product. Rankings reset every week and are for motivation only.

4. Your account

You start as a guest. You can save your account with an email and password so you can log back in on another phone; you need a saved account to post or chat. Keep your password private. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time: You → Delete my account.

5. Community rules

When you post on The Floor, reply, chat in a Session, write a goal or bio, or pick a username:

• Be respectful. No bullying, harassment, threats, or hate based on who someone is.
• No phone numbers, emails, addresses, social media handles or other contact details, yours or anyone’s.
• Never encourage anyone to hurt themselves or others.
• No sexual content, graphic violence, or anything illegal.
• No ads, spam, selling, or asking for money.
• Only post photos you have the right to share, and don’t post photos of other people without their permission.
• Keep it honest. Don’t fake proof or use tricks or automation to inflate your hours, streak or worth.
• Don’t pretend to be someone else, including Unseen Hours staff.
• Pick a username that isn’t offensive or misleading.

6. Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report any post, reply, chat message, private message or profile photo, and block the person behind it. Blocked people are never told, and blocking also stops private messages between you. Things with several reports, and any private message that’s reported, are hidden until a moderator reviews them. Private messages are only possible between accountability partners or people who follow each other. An automatic check keeps contact details out and sends anything with crisis language to a moderator instead of showing it publicly.

We may remove anything, reset hours or streaks gained by breaking these rules, or suspend or delete any account that breaks these rules or puts someone at risk. We aren’t able to review everything before it appears.

7. Sessions

Sessions are live group work sessions with a chat. The chat opens 15 minutes before a Session starts and closes 30 minutes after it ends. The community rules apply there too.

8. What you post

What you write and the photos you share are yours. By posting something on Unseen Hours, you give us permission to store it and show it to other people in the app for as long as it stays posted. You can delete your posts and replies, or your whole account, whenever you like.

9. The service

Unseen Hours is free. We work hard to keep it running, but it’s provided “as is,” without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free, that hours and rankings will always be exact, or that other users’ posts are accurate. We may change or stop features, or the app itself.

10. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses, for what other users say or do, or for decisions you make based on anything in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

11. Ending things

You can stop using Unseen Hours and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to keep others safe.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

13. Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. If you keep using Unseen Hours after that, you accept the new terms.
