Needit
Terms of Use · Effective September 30, 2026Terms for using Needit.
These terms apply when you install or use Needit, a product of UnaviaTech. By using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable platform terms.
1. The service
Needit keeps a list of things you need — things to buy, money to set aside, and things to do — and reminds you at the right time or when you’re near a store that’s likely to have them. It can read what you type or say, suggest the kind of store to look in, plan events and trips, give directions, and, if you connect your calendar, ask whether you need anything for what’s coming up. Features may change during TestFlight and early releases.
2. Reminders and suggestions
Needit cannot guarantee that a reminder will arrive at an exact time or place. Delivery can be affected by device permissions, battery settings, connectivity, provider availability, iOS background limits, store data, and whether the app has been force-quit. How Needit reads your words, which kind of store it suggests, and the ideas it offers for an occasion are its best guess — check them before relying on them. Keep separate reminders for urgent, medical, safety-critical, or time-sensitive matters.
3. Stores, directions, and driving
Store categories, stock, opening hours, distance, street photos, traffic, directions, and travel-time estimates may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Confirm important details with the store. Spoken and on-screen directions are a guide: always follow road signs, traffic laws, and conditions, and stay aware of your surroundings. Do not use or look at the app while driving — set up your trip before you leave, or let a passenger use it.
4. Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping access to the email address it uses, because sign-in codes are sent there. You can change the email address, sign out, or delete the account at any time in Settings → Your account. We may suspend or remove an account that is used to misuse the service.
5. Calendar
Connecting your calendar is optional. Needit only reads events to ask about them, suggest what you might need, and remind you, and only adds an event to your calendar when you ask it to. Suggestions are based on an event’s name and details and may not fit your plans.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass security or usage limits, interfere with other users or providers, reverse engineer protected components except where law permits, or use Needit for unlawful activity.
7. Needit+ and purchases
Needit+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. The price, billing period, and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, if you start a free trial, when the trial ends.
Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
You can manage or cancel Needit+ at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; Needit+ stays on until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. To use Needit+ on another device signed in to the same Apple Account, tap Restore purchases in the app.
Needit’s free features remain available without a subscription. If Needit+ ends, things above the free limit are parked, not deleted, and you choose which stay active.
8. Ownership
Needit, its design, software, branding, and original content belong to UnaviaTech or its licensors. Maps, place information, street photos, and third-party names belong to their respective owners and are shown under their terms.
9. Availability and termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Needit. You may stop using the service at any time by deleting the app and, if you have one, your account. TestFlight builds expire under Apple’s TestFlight rules.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Needit is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties that reminders, readings of your words, suggestions, place results, directions, routes, or other features will always be accurate or uninterrupted. UnaviaTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including losses from relying on directions or store information, where such limitations are permitted.
11. Privacy and contact
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Questions about these terms may be sent to [email protected].
